Annoyed by his mother's unbearable nagging, Emperor Jonah Saul storms off and bumps into Byron, a boy identical to him when he was young. Refusing to believe the boy is his son, Jonah exiles both Byron and his mother, Wynn Scott, who has been tricked by her own father into lying. It is only when he finds proof that he realizes his mistake and rushes to their side—only to find them taken and placed in harm's way.
